Hajj on Horseback started as a promise to Allah that Dr Abdallah Hernandez made after he became Muslim in 1990.
Now, over 30 years later, he counts with a large team of riders and volunteers to make this promise a reality.
The Road to Hajj
Traveling by horse in this modern setting is a very challenging task.
Therefore, we have created a strong logistic team to accompany and assist the riders and horses on their way to hajj.
Pure Arabian Horses
Pure Arabian Endurance Horses are possibly the only breed left capable of a project like Hajj on Horseback. This is because they have been breed and trained for long distance.
We have selected mares from the great Stud Farm La Cañada del Robledo, based in Cadiz, Spain.
Support the project
A project of this caliber requires all the help and support possible. Therefore, we are actively looking for donations and sponsors to help us finance the large costs of this unique trip.
In addition, we are also looking for professionals who can join our logistic team.
